About Us

Rebounces is the brainchild of CEO Bill Dirst.  A decade ago, while volunteering as a high school tennis coach, Bill began exploring different methods of recharging lifeless tennis balls.  With the technology patented and perfected, Rebounces is bringing their offering to the masses.  Every tennis player has experienced the pain of throwing tennis balls away after a few hours of use.  Rebounces is determined to make this pain a thing of the past by launching a national tennis ball recycling initiative while helping grow the game by offering recharged practice balls at a substantially discounted price.

There are hundreds of millions of tennis balls manufactured world wide each year -  approximately 20,000 tons of landfill waste.  Rebounces tackles this situation with a simple REPLAY, REUSE, RECYCLE initiative.

REPLAY -  Balls in good condition but merely flat can be re-pressurized.  Our new Green Machine allows pros/facilities to greatly extend the court life of balls and save money doing it.  Individuals can also send us their balls and we'll recharge them, or they can purchase from our inventory.

REUSE -  Balls that are too worn out to be put back in play are distributed to adult-care facilities, hospitals and schools to place on the bottom of furniture and walkers to provide stability, reduce flooring damage and conquer noise pollution so that teachers may be heard clearly.

RECYCLE - For balls that cannot be REPLAYED or REUSED, Rebounces is constantly exploring methods for RECYCLING.  Rebounces' goal is to make tennis balls 100% recyclable.

Bill is joined in his efforts by long-time friends and fellow tennis enthusiasts, Cannon Fletcher ( Chief Financial Officer ) and Grant Garland ( Chief of Marketing.)  Cannon and Bill first met during their MBA program at the University of Arkansas Little Rock.  Over the course of many late-night study sessions, the initial business plan for Rebounces was born.  Cannon currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri and is married to an Angel ( pun intended.)

Bill and Grant became quick friends ( and tennis rivals ) when Bill's family moved to Harrison, Arkansas in the late 70's.  As fate would have it, these two would reconnect later to form Rebounces.  Grant credits his father for introducing him to the game of tennis at an early age.

It has been a long time coming but Rebounces has finally arrived and is ready to turn the tennis and recycling world upside down.  They ask for your help in making Rebounces' dream a reality.
