Congrats to Li Na and Rafa for their triumphs at Roland Garros. What an interesting draw on both sides – all four top seeds on men’s side in the semis where none in women’s draw, but Schivione was the defending champion.
Bjorn Fratangelo of Pittsburgh became first US male since McEnroe to win French juniors! And our friends from T Bar M Academy – Mitch Krueger – came up a bit short in doubles final… but what a run he had on the red clay in Paris!!
Will the talk of American youth not doing well on clay end? Doubtful… but worth asking
